Together Again!

Time flies. Kok Sung is coming home this Sat for a 3 weeks term break. Once again, he has done well for his course. Ian is a big boy now. He climbs onto chairs, cushion chairs at our house's cozy corner, open cupboards and bring all the barang barang out. He had also started opening our cupboards without handles and is scary when he started to open the medicine drawer. Nevethless he's really cute and i couldn't help but love him more each day. I am looking forward to Kok Sung's homecomeing so that Ian's free time could be spent more meaningful like studying..hahahaha cause I did nothing but play with him!

We have a "War"

I did not have enough sleep last night, thanks to Ian who simply refused to drink his milk before he sleeps. I have to wake up in the middle of the night (including the hours that I have taken till 2am to get him to drink his milk) just to try and feed him! He relented at 330am and sleep throughout till 7am. Thank God that the first feed in the morning went well.

After bringing him to the market to buy some groceries for his lunch, I feed him his milk as usual. Another 2 hours of fight and this time he won, and I failed to feed him and wasted 2 bottles of milk. I am really tired after all these. Not forgetting, I was busy with preparing his meals, bringing him to the marke, bathing him and doing some housework. The only consolation that I had is that he ate half of bowl of porridge just before making his protests...he was too tired to continue with his meal..he took his morning nap.

While he napped, I have some time cleaning the house and wash my clothes (washing machine of course!). Now the house is a least ("home shape") and presentable. Enjoying my coffee now as he sleeps, I am really sorry I lost my temper at Ian, hopefully he doesn't pick up my temper... it is already 1pm now, looking back at the morning, most probably this is part of motherhood. Still love my son dearly.

Awaiting Dec 07

Kok Sung had gone back for his studies. I do miss him alot but looking at Ian, I think Ian may just need Kok Sung as much too. Tonite is the first night that Ian sleeps without Papa by his side. Although I will be more comfortable having Ian only on the bed, I will also miss those times whereby Kok Sung & I "fight" to share our blanket. Nevertheless, have to get use to Kok Sung's absence very soon. Shipboard life is rather hectic, I barely spend time with Ian, weekends are so precious to me. Hopefully the ship's officers would not mind if I don't take any of the weekends.....May it be God's will.

Honey Moon is going to be over soon

Time flies. Kok Sung had been back for almost 4 months. In another 3 weeks, he will be packing his bag and leave for states to study again. Fortunately for Ian, he was able to stay for Ian's first birthday! It was also a time for family gathering. The sylvester cake cost us S$114 with the catering at around S$270. So glad Kok Sung had been back. I just wish we have more time together......

Kok Sung is back

wah how time flies it is almost 3 months since I last blogged! Kok Sung is back now, Ian had gotten use to another person at nite sleeping with him, while I am also getting use to doing things with explanation.... When Kok Sung just came back, I was not use to having someone around the house, somehow I had gotten use to my own routine. Of course, it helps with him around, taking care of ian and helping out with housework. I bet Ian is also very happy cause he need not cry almost every evening while I bathe and settled myself after bringing Ian back home from work. Yet to take one good picture of us together..Here's one taken at botanica gardens..

Happy Piggy Year to All!

The new year passed quickly, so had chinese new year. CNY is my favourite festival of the year, and I am still trying to get over the fact that it is over! I had a great time wearing new clothes that are not bought by myself (credits to my cousin and sis), displayed fake flowers to decorate my house, bought 5 for S$10 goodies (exchanged one of these with my mum's yummy pineapple tarts), bought hanging piglet for wall decoration and a huge 春联 by my talented colleague and two bottles of drinks. Looking back, who's coming to my house anyway since Kok Sung is not here to help out, I didn't bother to invite anybody too.

Nevertheless, I have taken pictures of my favourite hongbaos for this year, I have yet to put away hong baos from last year. BB Ian being the new addition to the family was very pleasant to all his relatives. At my parents-in-law place, 2nd and 4th Aunts taught him how to "knock" heads with them and to my YeYe, BB Ian was sitting comfortably in his arms while we took photos. That's him in his traditional chinese costume?? Cute? He's really quite a lovely Baby.!

Woes of shopping online

Shopped online last week. Initially I thought the washing hat can serve as a sun visor while Ian sits in the car, apparently there's also a huge piece jutting out at the back of his head when he puts it on. Don't think he will be comfortable lying down in the car seat with this "sun visor" For a moment, I thought I was extremely innovative! In the midst of my online shopping experience, I bought too many boxes of nursing pads!! Planning to wean Ian off human milk in a few months time. Since I got the boxes guess I might as well finish them up! One of the baby bibs is of T-shirt size, don't think Ian needs that till he is nearly one year old. The BIG bib is for babies to learn how to eat on their own! Nevertheless, the service provided is great! Just click on the link to go "shopping". They do sell other items too. Happy Shopping!

Together Again

At last a family picture of the 3 of us. Kok Sung is back but not for long. He had enjoyed Ian's company and I have also done lots of shopping with him together with Ian. He bought Ian this set of clothes.
